PROBLEMS RELATING TO WATER, LAND AND HYDRO-ENERGETIC RESOURCES USE OF THE CENRAL ASIAN REGION

Academician of the International Information Academy, Professor, Doctor of Economical Sciences Ryskulov Damir Mirzakulovich graduated from the Central Asian Polytechnic Institute (Tashkent) in 1959, as an engineer of hydro-technique.
In 1966 - PhD in Technical Sciences.
In 1988 - Doctor of Economical Sciences.
From 1971 he was Head of Economical Justification Department of the Soyuzghiprovodkhoz (Union hydro-design of water management) Institute (Moscow); one of the authors (responsible executor of social-economic justification) of all stages of design-investigation and scientific-research works on diversion of a part of the Ob river system's flow to the Aral Sea basin. As a consultant of the Ministry of Water Economy of the USSR in economic justification of water-management and irrigation construction overseas, he many times went for Cuba, Syria, Yemen, Cyprus, Peru, Poland, Indonesia. During his work for the Central Asian branch of the Hydro-project Institute (Tashkent) from 1960 till 1970, he took part in designing the Nurek hydro-power station, Toktogul hydro-power station, Charvak hydro-power station; in scheduling the schemes of complex use of the Aral Sea basin, Chatkal river, Naryn-Syrdarya tandem reservoir system, Third queue of the Karakum canal.
At the present, he is Advisor of the Analytical Department of the Mayor of Moscow.
There are more than 100 publications of his. The main of those are related to researches on integration of base resources of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Central Asian countries:
